A conversation with the flowers.

Today Little Ellie and I got to spend some quality time together while Sam was in school. It's been a while since we've gotten to hang out one on one. I had envisioned us having a nice conversation before nap. We would be giggling about the way her brother drives his trucks too fast in the house and her favorite new book. Instead she spent the whole time talking to the flowers...  I couldn't get a word in.

Home again!

So I thought I really had it together this time BUT I was wrong. I wanted to take beautiful pictures of the landscape and kiddos in the Alps and I'm afraid I have failed miserably! I have this problem where I go in with the best of intentions but then I get involved in the "doing" of all the activities and come home with nada. Maybe our next adventure will yield better images? It was just so much fun and I was eating in all my spare time... Here are a few shots from before we left on vacation. I promise I will be better ;)

 The boy's got style.

 This hair is getting a little out of control. Looks like I'm going to have to dive into the world of barrettes and headbands. 

 Sam couldn't decide which boots to wear, he had to try them both out.
