Sam is a wild 2.5 year old boy. "Would you like to eat some veggies?" Um, no thanks. The boy sees candy and he is suddenly starving. We have a routine in the morning now (on off school days) that starts with his "milkshake". It looks terrible but tastes so yummy. He asks for seconds and sometimes thirds! Now if we could just convince Dad we NEED a Vitamix. ;)
This makes enough for the three of us...
Sam's Milkshake
1 cup oats (not quick)
2 large handfuls frozen kale (or spinach)
a large handful frozen blueberries
1 plain Greek yogurt
1 Tb peanut butter
1 banana
unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Doesn't he make that look good? Haha.
